Violet to help you give of your best and raise you up while also giving you a spring in your step in the process! Violet, Give of your best. Today I am inspired to write about the colour violet for many reasons, firstly today 7th April is my birthday. The 7th is associated with the violet ray and it is a colour that I have been born with that gives me the qualities of violet. It’s the ray that gives me my sensitive nature, spiritual gifts, compassion, high ideals and sense of responsibility. This colour is spiritual, noble and dignified. It’s the colour of transcendence, of mind over matter, giving great depth, meaning and a sense of richness. It’s a colour that will help you be ambitious and self-assured, be the leader and have you destined for success. This colour is a great purifier. It has the ability to cleanse and clear places of any lower energies, making the space clear and uplifting. It has also a great capacity to raise every cell in the body to a higher frequency and purifying and clearing every part of our being. It cuts to the chase. No messing around with this colour. It is the colour of divine inspiration and encourages you to aspire to your highest ideals. You will see this colour amongst the royals and clergy a sign of respect, wealth, wisdom, richness, dignity and luxury. Violet also brings a sense of mystery and magic. Drawn to Violet If you are drawn to this colour it can mean that you are going through the grieving process, this can be because of the loss of a loved one or grieving the life you thought you would have but never manifested. This is one of the reasons why this colour helps someone recover from grief. It can also mean that you are very responsible and sensitive and that you need to realise that you are only responsible for yourself and not for others. Maybe you are taking on other people’s responsibilities and this can become overwhelming over time. It’s time for you to pass the responsibility of others that you have been carrying to empower them and for you to lighten your load. Being drawn to this colour a lot is a telltale sign as someone of maturity as well as strength. Too much of this colour will most likely have you up in the clouds, living in your head, full of ideas and thoughts that may fail to reach the body? To counteract this you can write all these ideas and thoughts down and connect with their energy so you can determine if they are ideas really worth pursuing now. This exercise will also help ground you and have you prosperous! Be careful not to over indulge with this colour as it can have you down in the doldrums before you know it. So use this colour in moderation or make sure you have it complementary colour yellow to balance the aspects of this intense; rich, deep, spirituality powerful ray. Funnily enough you will find this colour alot over the Spring season, with the blue bells, tulips,and purple hyacinth, giving I a sense of renewal. Leonardo da Vinci once wrote that meditation and prayer is ten times more powerful while sitting in the violet light shining through a stained glass window. This colour is known to also help to develop imagination and creativity.
