A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about what colour can do for you and your life. This week I’m going to share how you can bring colour into your life, and work with it, allowing you to experience the full impact it can have on you and your life. As this is a broad subject, I will be writing a series of posts in the coming weeks.
The first thing you need to do is to go to your wardrobe or go to the homepage of my website to see which colour you feel most drawn to, you can then click on your colour choice to find out what that means.I would like you to work with your ‘favourite’ colour for the next seven days and, if you feel so inclined, it would be great if you could keep me posted on how you feel while working with that one colour. You see, your choice is telling you that you need this colour to balance you. It indicates that there is a part of your body not operating at its fullest potential. There will be more on this in future posts :o)
So, how do you work with your colour choice?
I would like you to take 5 minutes each day for seven days to meditate with your colour choice and observe how this colour makes you feel. Note down any changes you personally experience as you work with your chosen ray. You can let me know how it goes by leaving a comment on my blog or on my Facebook Colour Harmonie page or contact me directly via email info@colourharmonie.com.
Concentrate on your breathing. Breathing in goodness and breathing out negativity, tension, or stress. Do this for three breaths.
Now bring to mind your colour choice. If your colour choice is one of the electric colours (red, orange and yellow),or brown, visualise the colour coming in through your feet and filling your entire being.
If your colour is green or pink, visualise this colour coming into your heart and filling you up.
If your colour is magnetic (blue, indigo, violet, magenta), or gold or white, visualise the colour coming in from your crown (the top of your head) and filling you from head to toe.
Spend between three and five minutes immersed in this colour.
When you are finished protect yourself imaging you are wrapped in golden light like an egg and give thanks for the nourishment your colour ray has given you.
This process not only feeds and nourishes your energetic system, it also creates a physical shift within you, allowing you to become more centered and balanced.
Think about buying flowers of your chosen colour and have them on your desk or in your kitchen where you see them. Your body is also taking in that ray via your eyes which, in turn, feeds the part of your body that your colour choice relates to.
Do enjoy this week of basking in your chosen colour. I love this meditation and it’s a great one to do as me enter into the energy of spring. It’s another kind of spring makeover. Be conscious during this time because, from my experience, it truly is a magical meditation.
This is the right blog for anyone who wants to find out about this topic. You realize so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually would want…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just great!
